Roschen Oil drill pipe is seamless, thin-wall hollow sections and steel tubing which was manufactured by bonding together to the rig at the exterior and composes around 98.5% of the length of a drill string. These joints are used in the top section of the drill string to drill fluid in the well and transfer torque to the bit, also circulating the length of the well.
Roschen supplies and stocks a large inventory of oil drill pipe and OCTG pipe, heavy weight drill pipe as per API Spec 5DP, API 7/ 7-1 and API RP7G. API 5DP specifies the technical delivery conditions, size, weight, grade, material properties and other requirements for drill pipe. There are four commonly used grades, which define the minimum yield strength and give the requirements for the properties of the carbon material: E-75, X-95, G-105, S-135. The higher the steel grades, the higher the strength of the drill pipe. We stock the drill pipe or rod in the grade X95, G105, S135 range from 2 3/8″, 6 5/8″to 24".
